OHCO M.DX 4D Massage Chair
The OHCO M.DX massage chair was designed by Ken Okuyama, a world-famous designer most known for his work on the Enzo Ferrari.
The newly designed OHCO M.DX massage chair has been engineered to enhance health and wellness through the healing power of Shiatsu massage, and the new M.DX will help you maximize health, improve well-being, and reduce stress.
DeltaWave Massage® Mechanism
The M.DX massage chair is designed to feel unbelievably lifelike. The M.DX does tapping, kneading, rolling, and combinations and the 4D engine mimics the human touch for a massage similar to that of a massage therapist.
The advanced design of the DeltaWave engine allows for complex movements and the speed is precisely controlled to go from fast to UltraSlow allowing for an outstanding lifelike massage.
Zero Gravity & Lay Flat Recline
This massage chair allows the user to adjust to a wide range of reclined positions like Zero Gravity and Lay Flat.
 
Wall Hugging (Space-Saver)
The M.DX has space-saving technology. The chair only needs 6.25” (15 cm) from the wall to fully recline allowing the user to maximize their space.
MaxTrack®
The MaxTrack is the interplay between our 49” ultra-long track and DeltaWave engine. This allows for the M.DX chair to seamlessly massage in the zero gravity position and the lay-flat posture, as well as offering exceptional range during back extension movements.
Total-Body Heat
There is heat located in the foot, palm, back, and seat areas. The pinpoint roller heat on the massage engine provides heat similar to “hot rocks”. The individual heat areas can be turned on and off independently.
Rear Swinging Doors
On the left and right side of the chair are doors that open allowing for easier entry and exit from the chair.
Back AutoScan
The M.DX massage chair will conduct an automatic back scan that personalizes the massage to your body and guides the programmed massage sessions. The programmed massage session will focus on the shiatsu points of the neck, back, and seat.
TheraElliptical™ Kneading & Back Calf Kneading
The M.DX massages the calves with compression massage combined with rotation (grasp and knead) while a calf roller massager runs up and down the back of the calves. These combined actions mimic the work of massage therapists.
Automatic Recline
At the start of the massage, the chair will automatically set the recline. The user can manually adjust the recline from 120 degrees to 165 degrees from the floor and the leg rest can be adjusted 90 degrees.
Full Body Air Massage Coverage
The M.DX has full body air massage. The air cells are located in the neck, shoulder, arms, hands, hips, outer thighs, glutes, calves, and feet areas.
Foot Rollers
This chair is equipped with foot rollers that give a gentle massage to the bottom of the feet.
Multi-Language Remote Control
The M.DX has an easy to use remote with an LCD screen. The remote can also be set up to display in multiple languages.
Bluetooth Audio Immersion
The M.DX comes with Bluetooth capability. Speakers are located on the left and right shoulders allowing the user to listen to music during their massage.
Cell Phone Slot
The M.DX allows the user to store their phone or other items in a convenient slot while they enjoy their massage.
Chromotherapy
The remote is programmed to be able to display chromotherapy (color therapy) sessions when powered on and the remote has been idle for 90 seconds. Chromotherapy can add to the overall experience of the massage.
Link Massage
The user can link two different massage sessions together with the remote giving 35-40 minutes total massage time.
Supplied Items
The OHCO M.DX will arrive with a power cord, T-shaped wrench, cap head screws, straight pins, cotter pins, channel covers, carry handles, and foot buffer pads.
Massage Sessions
The M.DX comes equipped with 14 programmed and focused massage sessions that were designed in consultation with Okabayashi sensei, a Japanese shiatsu master. Each session (excluding feet & calves) will last roughly 18 minutes.
Programmed Massage Sessions:
- Quick: is a quick refresh for the whole body that uses the chair’s basic capabilities, such as massage, air, heat, and leg and foot rollers.
- Full Body: gives a total body shiatsu massage specifically the back, neck, and shoulders.
- Float: provides an up and down figure 8 motion that rocks the hips and thighs
- Stress Relief: is a full body massage that combines a variety of techniques.
- Unwind: a full-body session that combines slow, calming massage techniques that are predictable and repeated.
- Stretch: focuses on mobilizing the neck, shoulders, and back. Gives extension movements to the spine, hip rotation and full-body stretch.
- Morning: is designed to energize and refresh the body and mind and is choreographed to move blood from the body’s extremities toward its core.
- Night: is a slow systematic, patterned massage and is choreographed to move blood from the core toward your extremities.
- Full Body Air: uses the air massage functions to slowly massage the shoulders, back, arms, hips, legs, and feet.
- Sports Recovery: a full-body program focused on refreshing tired muscles after athletic activity.
Focused Massage Sessions:
- Neck & Shoulders: targets the neck and shoulders with a kneading massage (this program is recommended to run without the pillow in place).
- Low Back: uses kneading and tapping massage that focuses on the lumbar area.
- Glutes: focuses on the lower back, glutes, and thighs.
- Feet & Calves: concentrates on the ankles, feet, and claves using air cells around the feet and calves while foot rollers massage the bottom of the feet.
