DELTAWAVE™
At the core of the R.6 lies the technology to transform your entire state of being. Our proprietary DeltaWave engine is designed to deliver an intuitive and lifelike massage. In addition to basic movements—tapping, kneading, rolling—the DeltaWave 4D engine uses advanced massage algorithms to mimic the hands of a massage therapist.
It precisely manages a wide range of massage speeds from fast to ultra slow movements. Rapid acceleration and deceleration of motor speeds add variation to movements and patterns; deepening the human qualities of the R.6.
AIR MASSAGE Air cells in the R.6’s shoulders, arms, seat, legs, and feet provide soothing relief with customizable levels of compression.
TOTAL BODY HEAT
The R.6’s heating units in the back, seat, and feet soothe and loosen stiff muscles, preparing them to get the most out of their massage.
AUTOMATIC RECLINE AND ZERO GRAVITY
As your experience begins, the R.6 automatically reclines as far back as 157° to distribute even pressure with each soothing massage movement. The R.6 also offers a zero gravity recline that cradles your body for maximum comfort while improving circulation, increasing lung capacity and gently decompressing the lumbar spine.
L-TRACK
Imprinted with the wisdom of Okabayashi sensei, the L-Track system mimics the unique shape of your body and releases tension throughout your entire back—beginning at your neck and moving down to your lumbar spine and glutes. Rest, rejuvenate and feel restored as increased blood flow delivers healing and mobility to your upper, mid and lower back.
BACK AUTO SCAN Like a shiatsu master examining the curvature of your spine, the Back AutoScan reads your body structure and selects the appropriate shiatsu points for your neck, back and glutes.
FOOT ROLLERS
Find sweet, soothing relief for tired feet. These carefully choreographed two-way rollers gently work pressure points on the soles of your feet.
WALL HUGGING (Space Saver)
Find the perfect location for your OHCO chair. With only a 6.25” (16cm) gap requirement between the upright backrest position and a wall, you can create a tranquil space just about anywhere within your office or home.
MULTI-LANGUAGE REMOTE CONTROL
Adjust and monitor your massage with ease using the handheld remote. The intuitive, user-friendly interface makes setting up your session simple and can be selected in multiple languages. After you learn basic functions, the raised-button layout allows you to tactilely navigate basic functions without needing to look at your remote.
Included Languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simple and Traditional), Vietnamese, German, Spanish, Russian and French.
MASSAGE SESSIONS
The OHCO R.6 has 12 programmed and focused massage sessions from which you can choose. All programmed sessions have been designed in consultation with a Japanese shiatsu master.
Countless hours have been devoted to the careful and artful recreation of massage movements and routines that most closely mimic the movements of hands of a shiatsu master. These provide easy-to-use massage options to meet a variety of needs.
Each of the below sessions (excluding Feet & Calves) lasts approximately 18 minutes and can be selected by navigating through the menus on the LCD screen unless otherwise noted.
Programmed Sessions:
Quick: Recommended for those seeking a quick refresh for the entire body. Also a good demonstration of the chair’s basic capabilities, incorporating massage, air, heat and foot rollers.
Full Body: Mobilizes the back, neck, and shoulders. A supremely relaxing total body shiatsu massage experience. Designed to revitalize your entire body and reinvigorate your mind.
Float: The ultimate in a meditative and soothing experience. This massage program provides undulating figure-8 motions that rocks the hips and thighs, balances the body, relaxes the mind, and delivers deep relaxation.
Stretch: Focused on mobilizing the back, shoulders, and neck. Choreographed to deliver healthy extension movements of the entire spine, hip rotation, and a full body stretch.
Morning: Energize and refresh. Awaken your body and mind. Whether you use it first thing in the morning or midday, this massage invigorates and boosts energy, and is choreographed to move blood from the body’s extremities toward its core.
Night: Clear your mind. Drift. Dream. A slow, methodical, patterned massage that completely clears the mind and lulls you to sleep. Choreographed to move blood from your core toward your extremities, helping to overcome the challenge of insomnia and a powerfully useful bedtime ritual massage.
Sports Recovery: A full body program focused on refreshing and rejuvenating fatigued muscles and speeding recovery from vigorous athletic activity.
Full Body Air: Graceful and slowly paced air massage of arms, shoulder, back, hips, legs, and feet. A mellow and pleasant experience that exclusively uses the air massage functions of the chair.
Focused Sessions:
Neck & Shoulders: Designed to melt away muscle soreness and fatigue in the upper back. Targets the neck and shoulders with a variety of kneading massage patterns.
Low Back: Soothe and loosen the muscles of the lower back and hips with focused kneading and tapping massage focused on the lumbar area.
Glutes: Focuses on the lower back, glutes and thighs, this session relives tension and relaxes the lumbar area and large muscles of the lower torso and upper legs.
Feet & Calves: Soothe sore, achy feet and legs. Air cells surround the feet and calves while foot sole rollers address reflexology points on the bottoms of the feet. Heals and relieves tired or swollen ankles, feet, and calves.
Manual Sessions:
This chair has 7 manual massage methods from which you can choose: Knead, Delta Knead, Tap, Pulse, Knead & Tap, Knead & Pulse, and Rolling.
Manual Air Sessions:
This chair has 4 manual air sessions from which you can choose: Shoulder & Arm, Hips, Legs & Feet, & Full Body Air.
